Auditions
2010 Season

Summer Production (TBA)

Auditions begin July 6 and performance week begins August 9

Jesus Christ Superstar

The Director, John Sbordone, and Choreographer, Diane Ellertsen, are expecting a very physical production using all elements of their flexible space. While singing is, of course, essential, there will be members of the ensemble who will have to climb scaffolding and some will enter from our balcony on ropes. Auditioners should come prepared to move liberally and demonstrate physical flexibility. Less physically demanding singing roles are available. Main characters are listed below. The director is prepared to cast competent females in all roles. Auditions begin August 18 at 6:00pm.

Jesus Christ, Tenor (A2-G5), Protagonist of the story, leader of the twelve Apostles, and son of God, Messiah and King of the Jews.
Judas Iscariot, Tenor (D3-D5), One of the twelve apostles of Jesus; concerned for the poor and the consequences of Jesus' fame
