The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
A Musical Comedy, with music and lyrics by William Finn and based on the book by Rachael Sheinkin, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" is about six "kids" in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves. A Tony award-winning show with a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders who discover that a spelling bee is the one place where you can stand out and fit in at the same time. Audience participation makes every performance a unique experience.
